Reverend
Isaac A. Fox
Reverend
Isaac A. Fox was born to
the
late Susie and Ned Will Fox in Nashville,
North Carolina.
He received his
Bachelor of
Science degree in Chemistry
from Shaw University,
Raleigh, North Carolina.
In
addition, Reverend Fox received a Master of Science degree in
Information
Science from the University of the District of Columbia and a Master of
Divinity from Howard
University School of Divinity, Washington, D.C.
He has furthered
his studies
for the Doctor of Ministry
Program at the University of Virginia at Lynchburg in Lynchburg,
Virginia, and
the Doctor of Theology Degree Program at the Trinity College of the
Bible and
Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana.
Reverend Fox
served as a
Deacon and General Superintendent
of Sunday School at Vermont
Avenue Baptist Church
for fourteen years. He preached his
initial sermon on January 31,
1995, and was ordained on August 17, 1997, by the Vermont Avenue Baptist
Church
under the pastorate of the late Reverend Dr. John R. Wheeler.
Reverend Fox is
a member of
the Missionary Baptist
Ministers’ Conference of Washington, D.C. and Vicinity.
He is also a member of St. John Lodge #12,
PHA, St. John’s
Chapter No. 7; HRAM; Henderson Commandery No. 2, Knights Templar; Mecca
Temple
No. 10, AEONMS, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and the George S.
Patton, Jr.
Tank Corps, Post #19 of the American Legion.
Reverend Fox is
married to
the former Miss Jessie Bullock. They have
been blessed with two daughters,
Angela (Clayton) and Natalie (Allan) and four grandchildren,
Christopher,
Cynthia, and Curtis Wheeler and Allan Holtz, Jr.
Reverend Fox’s
centering
passage of Scripture is Micah 6:8
(NKJV) – “He has shown you, O man, what
is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To
love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?”
